As the CEO of Commerx, I have dedicated much of my life to this company. Since its inception, my roles have grown organically. I have held numerous positions ranging from the warehouse, bookkeeping, and sales to operations. Despite exploring opportunities in other businesses, something always drew me back to Commerx, a place that holds a special place in my heart. My key responsibilities involve safeguarding the essence of Commerx, ruthlessly protecting our culture and ensuring that our “We Care” legacy remains central to our vision. I am committed to ensuring a personal touch with every customer, fostering a proactive and caring approach that treats every client like family.
I find great satisfaction in understanding what drives our clients and identifying the factors that contribute to their success. I emphasize the importance of listening first and then engaging in meaningful conversations to stay attuned to their evolving needs. Outside of work, I am passionate about music, fashion, and mental health, and I am dedicated to empowering women. Among my most adventurous experiences are reclaiming leadership of Commerx and backpacking across Europe before the advent of cell phones, navigating with actual maps and making collect calls home.
Surprisingly, I am both an introvert and an extrovert, requiring significant alone time despite my social demeanor. I spent 15 years in dance and even had the good fortune of attending the National Ballet School of Canada for a season before deciding I wanted to return to my local school.
I hope that clients and colleagues will feel my innate and genuine care and commitment to their success after reading my bio. I live by the mantra, “Choose kind,” reminding myself and others that everyone is facing their own battles.
