ITCloud.ca is one of only 7 authorized Microsoft 2-Tier distributor for CSPs in Canada. The born in the cloud company is focused on providing cloud backup services in the form of supervised cloud solutions to managed services providers (MSPs). Company co-founder and vice president of sales and business development David Latulippe told EChannelNews that the event was a great success to ITCloud.ca because there were so many new channel partners to do business with.
Since attaining the Microsoft CSP Indirect provider designation ITCloud.ca has grown its partner network to more than 650 channel partners and MSPs. But, more is needed because Latulippe is targeting small business partners. He believes that this is a good segment of the market, especially at 25 employees or less.
Latulippe added that 96 per cent of Canadian businesses have less than 30 employees. “These companies are too small to take care of their own IT. And, the partners involved are also small,” Latulippe said, in a previous interview.
In ITCloud.ca’s network of partners handles tens of thousands of daily backups.
Through partnerships with Microsoft and StorageCraft, ITCloud.ca has developed the Office 365 Backup solution for MSPs that protects, manages and recovers Office 365 data. This service also encrypts and can be accessed through a Web-based interface. It also is an agentless cloud solution that backs up three times a day and has unlimited retention for storage and recovery.
This is why it was important for Latulippe and his team at ITCloud.ca to engage with ChannelNEXT attendees at the Esterel event.
He said that customers don’t want to manage their own back-up. And, ITCloud.ca takes all of the risk away from them.

The Office 365 Backup solution also features Exchange Backup for all email activity including calendars, contacts and data saved in previous revisions.
It also has OneDrive for Business, which can be encrypted and made readily available to the user. SharePoint is also in the package.
Latulippe and the team at ITCloud.ca are going to continue participating at ChannelNEXT events in Niagara Falls coming this June and in Whistler, B.C. in October.
